Financial preparedness is key to long-term success.
Replacement of pipe in the ground averages about $1.5M per mile.
Mesa Water has approximately 350 miles of pipe with life expectancy of about 70 years.
Mesa Water District's Board of Directors is committed to fiscal responsibility in providing safe and reliable water to your home.
In a recent study provided by Raftelis Group, an independent rates consultant, Mesa Water spends less per ratepayer than any other water district in Orange County. In addition, our water system is among the tightest in the nation, which means fewer leaks and lower costs for the ratepayers.
I feel strongly that the public has a right to information concerning compensation to employees and to the Board of Directors. This information should be easily accessible to the public. As your Director, I was a part of the effort in August 2010 to put this information on our website. You can access this information at: http://www.mesawater.org
Aggressive efficiency, strong fiscal management, visionary strategic planning, and a strong focus on customer service are my priorities. With your support I will continue to find creative, cost effective solutions and provide leadership in the management of our water resources to meet the needs of our community. High quality, reliable, and affordable drinking water is essential to our community's success. As your representative I will continue working to provide strategic initiatives insuring that Mesa Water can meet our water needs now and into the future.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Mesa Water Director. I ask for and would appreciate your vote.
