Alejandro believes in regionalism and in creating healthy communities for our families and residents. He is a true believer that Cities and the County must work together in order to accomplish and meet the unmet needs of our City and County, in particular those within District 3.

He believes in smart growth and developing our City in a smart way so our City can strive to maintain its unique charm and character; yet create synergy and vibrancy to attract tourists and jobs. A balance must be created to sustain and create housing and at the same time create a job force for our educational system to flourish and develop our workforce in order to create jobs that will sustain our communities future.

Using our slogan, "Gateway to the Pinnacles", the River Road Wine Corridor and green energy efforts such as our Wind Turbine we will see our economy increase and our finances stabilize to become a the Jewel of the Salinas Valley.

Alejandro believes that when families and our community is placed first, we will create a healthier Soledad. By focusing our efforts to put Health in all Policies and truly focus on youth and youth development our return on investment will pay out ten-fold in less public safety costs and generating a safe and vibrant community.
