It's Time for New Leadership - You Deserve the Best!

This election is about reform and accountability. It is time to elect someone who is independent and is interested in ending the corruption of the West Basin Municipal Water District.

How is a Director paid $75,000 in one year when this is a part-time position? Payments to Directors are limited to $230.00 per meeting. Payments cannot exceed 10 meetings per month with only one meeting allowed per day. In 2012, two Directors were paid $63,000 and the convicted Director was paid $55,000. Elect someone who will reform Director compensation.

Elect someone who has worked on technology to recycle waste water. Someone who will work to assure the availability of potable water at affordable rates. Someone who is looking for the best available water technology and not personal enrichment.

Choose someone who has private sector executive experience. Someone who has had to meet a payroll and control expenses. Elect someone who will make sure the money is spent on delivering water and not on excessive district overhead.

Water is the most important issue today. Without adequate availability and affordability our local economy will falter. It is important you evaluate the candidates and vote for the one that will reform the practices of the District and will best serve you.
