As a current Cerritos College trustee with more than a decade of experience as a college professor and an industrial engineer, and holding a doctorate degree in Computer Information Systems, I am resolute toward making Cerritos College a first-class provider of public education. Toward that end, meaningful learning and student success will continue to be my main focus.

At Cerritos College, we have worked mindfully to set policies and make decisions that provide all students the resources they need to achieve bold academic goals. This commitment was strategically maintained amid recent budgetary challenges. Cerritos College has continued to provide the necessary academic offerings and support services to prepare students for transfer, degree and certificate completion, and ultimately to succeed in the workforce. Furthermore, we continuously strive to provide a technologically-advanced learning environment for the benefit of students and the campus community.

Student learning and success will continue to be my top priority and I will work diligently with pertinent stakeholders to provide Cerritos College students the first-class learning environment they deserve.
