Political Philosophy for Mark Foley
Candidate for |

|
People not Politics I would be honored to serve as an East Bay Regional Park District Director to represent my community and protect our open-space for future generations, not to further my political career. Stewardship of Natural Resources at a Critical Time Protecting precious resources so that the next generation of stewards - our children - can enjoy beautiful natural areas today and tomorrow. With thousands more acres expected to come into the East Bay Regional Park District in the next five years, we need leaders experienced in resource management. I'm a water expert who ensures that our reservoirs are maintained for recreation, open space, and safe, reliable drinking water. Improve public safety and accessibility - to East Bay Regional Parks as well as the District that manages them. I'm running to make sure District meetings are accessible to the public and working families, instead of being held almost exclusively in Oakland during work days. Protect open space and recreational opportunities for youth, seniors, and the mobility-challenged by expanding access to clean, safe parks. I will work to ensure that our children understand how they can have positive impact on the environment. |
