Political Philosophy for Marlene Del Rosario
Candidate for |
These represent my current areas of concern and activism. Security: The Oroville police and fire departments have not received the support they require or deserve. Privatizing our protection is not an option. Affordable Water Rates: Cal Water recipients have the most expensive water in Butte County. The privately owned company charges even when the water is turned off. Toxic Clean Up: Oroville is the most polluted area in Butte County. Toxic removal and education are imperative to the health and safety of our community. Returning Oroville to Economic Solvency: Too many buildings in downtown Oroville have sat empty for too long. Butte College Extension: Oroville, as the County seat and should be a center of commerce and education. |
