A MESSAGE TO TORRANCE VOTERS

When I first announced in 2012 that I was seeking the office of Mayor in next week's election, I made a pledge to the residents to run a campaign based on ethics and respect because that is how an elected official such as the Mayor of Torrance should behave, ethically and respectfully. More importantly, this is the type of leadership you deserve.

My focus has never changed, never wavered. I believe the Mayor is the face of Torrance. Our residents, employees and businesses deserve consistent, ethical and compassionate leadership. This is how I've run my business and my life. I have tried to set an example not just with my votes as your Councilman, but as a very active Councilman. Torrance is where my heart is.

The decisions we make as Mayor and Council affect people's quality of life for years to come and that quality of life will be my primary consideration as your Mayor. If you believe that Torrance deserves continued respect for its residents and businesses, and ethical as well as consistent and fiscally responsible management of our City, please vote for me, Bill Sutherland on June 3rd.

I answer to only two special interest groups, the residents and businesses of Torrance.
