Overview of candidacyMy husband Lee and I are Torrance residents and love our small town feel and excellent education system. Our son Shane is enrolled in the Torrance Unified School District. I am a member of several community organizations. I have been serving the residents of Torrance in the City Clerk's office for 13 years and with your support I will continue to do so as your next City Clerk. I have earned the respect and trust of my colleagues and the people we serve. The City Clerk's role is to provide public information in an open, efficient, and timely manner. Continuing and enhancing these policies is my commitment to you. I will upgrade current technologies so that information is more easily accessible in a friendly environment. I am a member of the City Clerks Association of California, the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and I am currently awaiting my Certified Municipal Clerk designation. I believe it is important to provide information to everyone in an unbiased and respectful manner. My friendly approach, along with my education and work experience, makes me a great choice for Torrance City Clerk. I respectfully ask for your vote as your next City Clerk.
