In 2010 PA had the 7th best job growth rate in the nation. PA is now 47th. A balanced approach to job creation, including employee training, hiring incentives for employers, and public-private partnerships for economic growth, is needed.Some seem to believe that businesses producing products and services are the sole source of economic growth. Without citizens who can afford those products and services, those businesses cannot grow and will not survive. Capital and labor depend on each other for each other's economic health. A one-sided approach to jobs growth--tax breaks to corporations--is a failed policy that does not create jobs. A government that works for you will:
