Candidate for
Member, Board of Education; Long Beach Unified School District; District 1

My name is Uduak-Joe Ntuk. I'm a local engineer, youth mentor and soccer coach. On April 8th, I will be on the ballot to be our next School Board representative from Uptown Long Beach.

I'm running for school board because we need someone who will fight for our neighborhood schools. It's time for an Uptown Education Renaissance.

I grew up in North Long Beach, just like my mother and grandparents.

My two daughters attend LBUSD schools, and I'm a PTA Dad, so I know firsthand the challenges we face in preparing our kids to succeed academically and be good citizens.

I have a B.S. in engineering from Long Beach State, and a master's in engineering from USC, I am ready to prepare our kids for the high paying jobs of the future.
