- Risk Management
-
I support adoption of the risk management policies proposed by the League of Women Voters of Piedmont.
- Sanitary Sewer System and Sewer Fund
-
I support completing the phased rehabilitation of the remaining 1/3 of Piedmont's sanitary sewer mains using low-cost state loans. The projected sewer fund shortfall could be covered by borrowing from the General Fund and repaying the debt when the sewer fund again shows a surplus, approximately 2023.
- Pension Side Fund Refinance
-
I strongly support Measure A on the February 4, 2014 ballot. This measure would give the City Council the authority to refinance approximately $8,000,000 in existing employee pension obligations at a lower rate of interest.
