As an attorney, I have exclusively practiced trial law. From 2001-2007, I served the County in the Public Defender's Office where I focused on adult criminal defense. I also teach three courses on trial law at the University of Pittsburgh, in both the Law School and the Honors College. I teach required courses for judges and attorneys through the Supreme Court's Continuing Legal Education program and I have served as an arbitrator in the Civil Division of the Court of Common Pleas. Finally, I have served as the director of the mock trial team at Pitt for the past 13 years.
