Candidate for
Council Member; City of Mill Valley

Jessica first fell in love with Mill Valley when her family moved to the Sycamore Park neighborhood in 1992. Over the years, Jessica attended Park School, Mill Valley Middle School, and Marin Horizon School.

After completing college in Florida, Jessica moved back across the country to raise her daughter in Mill Valley, where she could be close to both the foot of majestic Mt. Tam and her mother and sister, who also live here.

Jessica is now an attorney at the Habeas Corpus Resource Center, where she represents death row inmates in their habeas appeals. She has always had an interest in public service and civic involvement. She currently represents Congressman Huffman on the Democratic Central Committee of Marin. In the past, she has also represented the Second Congressional District at the Democratic National Convention in 2012 and Assembly District 10 at two of the last three State Democratic Conventions. Jessica has also worked to improve policy on issues such as federal judicial nominations, prison reform, and the environment.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking the Mill Valley trails with her nine-year-old daughter and teaches Sunday school at Mt. Tam United Methodist Church.
