Ray's Biography

The father of children in 2nd, 5th and 8th grades, Ray is an active LVUSD volunteer and a dedicated nonprofit professional.

Ray is committed to our schools and community. He has a proven leadership track record in the schools and will be an asset to LVUSD's children, parents, teachers and staff. As Westlake Village residents since 1998, he and his wife, Torreh, have deep roots in our community.

Ray's passion for a quality education for all students will always be his primary focus. His experience managing budgets in tough economic times will lead him to act in the best interests of our entire community while protecting key educational programs. He has the courage to make difficult decisions and is respected throughout LVUSD for his leadership and integrity.

Ray is a Former United States Naval Officer, Founding Board Member and past Treasurer of T.H.E. Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools, PFC President, White Oak Elementary School 2010-12 & VP for Fundraising 2008-10, and an AYSO soccer coach for 9 teams.

Ray received his Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington and his Bachelor's Degree from UCLA.
