Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Harry Sachs

Candidate for
Council Member; City of San Ramon

This information is provided by the candidate

Like so many of you, my wife Diana and I chose San Ramon as the place to raise our family. Since 1999 we have called San Ramon home. We enjoy the excellent schools, the well kept parks and numerous city recreation programs. Our beautiful city is surrounded by open spaces and a trail system that adds to the rural character.

Yet our city faces challenges. For the first time in San Ramon's 30 year history we face structural deficits projected over the next several years. Additionally, San Ramon's population growth has strained our service levels in police services, park maintenance and city employee responsibilities. Furthermore, regional planning bureaucracies are making demands which continue to place undue pressure on San Ramon and threaten our quality of life.

As your voice on the City Council I pledge to work to find common sense solutions to these problems while working to maintain San Ramon's quality of life standards. I am a deliberative thinker who does not rush to judgment. I seek out consensus and am a patient listener. I believe that I offer San Ramon new leadership, new ideas and a fresh perspective with which to face our city's many challenges.

Thank you for taking the time to view my website where you will find my policy positions, qualifications and ways to help with my campaign. With your support, I vow to serve you with one goal in mind: Putting San Ramon First. Always!
