We must invest in job creation, and research. This will create new high paying jobs for the future!JOBS CREATION Simply slashing budgets will not propel us to prosperity. The solution to our current fiscal crisis is creating new revenue and opportunity. Certainly we must address waste, fraud and abuse in our state budget, but job creation must be a top priority. Through public works projects and policies that expand our business base we will expand Pennsylvania's economy. Our state's infrastructure must be repaired. Two years ago, The American Society of Civil Engineers reported, "We are witnessing a crisis in our state's infrastructure that will affect every Pennsylvanian for years to come." Our current politicians have failed to fund critical improvements to Pennsylvania's roads, bridges and rail system. By addressing these issues we can create jobs, improve our quality of life and insure a safer, more efficient future. With over 32 years of business and marketing experience in more than 30 countries, my perspective makes it clear that Pennsylvania must work harder to attract and retain new business, both domestically and internationally. To do this we must revise our tax code while reducing bureaucracy and red tape. And we need to vigorously market our state effectively. Value Opportunity: We can all help ourselves by creating an environment of opportunity. Job creation is the key to insuring not only our but our children's future. Public Works Projects + Rebuilding our infrastructure including the energy grid will have the triple benefit of improving the quality our lives and improving our opportunity to attract new private sector companies while providing jobs. Its and INVESTMENT. Private Sector Expansion + Pennsylvania's location provides a prime opportunity to allow existing business to expand while attracting new industry. We have to aggressively create the environment to attract and retain business from a variety of industries. Pennsylvania must achieve a ground up revision of its tax code in tandem with establishing a joint task force to reduce bureaucracy and red tape. |
