Support Worker Rights

America prospers when all workers have the opportunity to share in the wealth they help create. A strong organized labor movement is the best way to ensure that workers receive their fair share for their hard work.
My parents had a small travel agency in Allentown many years ago. They and other small businesses were able to thrive because organized labor was strong in the Lehigh Valley. Factory workers from Bethlehem Steel, Western Electric, and Mack Trucks earned good wages and could take trips and vacations. Today, more than anything else, small businesses need customers. Workers who have stable employment can purchase homes, consumer goods, and patronize local business. It is the way America works best.
