Councilmember; City of Riverbank

I believe politicians need to put the interests of those they represent first. They should weigh all issues carefully and come to the best conclusions based upon the available information. My political philosophy is to represent all the people as fairly as I can. As a representative, I recognize I serve at the will of the people. I also feel a politician will need to put more time into representing his people than just the required meetings. They must stay current on all issues and readily do the research to provided the best solutions to these issues when needed. New ideas and solutions must be considered if current solutions are not working. Politicians should not make promises they cannot keep. It is important that they keep the people's trust. This can only be done by being fair and invoving people in major decisions to be made as much as possible. Together we can roll up our sleeves and solve our problems just as the founders of this wonderful nation did.
