Statement from the candidate

I am running for a seat on the Board of Directors with the first order of business to bring common sense and integrity to the Board.

My number one priority is to meet the challenge of applying fundamental wellness methods into our lives.

I support sensible public education and training regarding the need for preventive health methods understanding that the investment in healthcare must be maintained and guarded for individuals who require it.

Appointed by the Board of Directors to the TCMC Community Healthcare Alliance Committee, one of six board level committees established by the district hospital whose charter is:

• Advising the TCHD Board and Administration on opportunities to reach out to the community on services, programs and facilities to improve healthcare.

• Provide District and Medical Center with feedback and dialog about TCMC operations, long range planning and healthcare needs of our community.

• Provide community healthcare-related non-profit organizations with grant funding that supplements and complements the Districtˇ¦s mission of "Advancing the health and wellness of those we serve".

As a successful, small businessman I am running for a seat on the Board of Directors with the first order of business to bring common sense and integrity to the Board.

The Board must emulate the behavior of the Tri-City Medical Center staff with their care, courtesy, attention and sensitivity to you the patient.

I will uphold those standards.
