Candidate for
Council Member; City of La Mesa

I am a native La Mesan, born in Grossmont Hospital, the same hospital where my daughter, Emily, was later born. My family has strong roots in La Mesa, going back to the 1940's. My grandmother worked as a realtor in La Mesa throughout the 1950's and 1960's for Kent Osborne, she was also involved in the La Mesa Women's Club. My father grew up on Palm Avenue and later moved to the Fuerte area of Mt. Helix and recalls riding his horse to University Avenue. My husband, Steven, and his family have been in La Mesa for several decades, I have resided in La Mesa on Lemon Avenue since late 1992 and am a lifelong San Diego County resident.
