Education and Qualifications:
Dear Friends and Neighbors, We live in a great city. As with all things, change is constant. One of those great changes in our city has been its growth in wonderful new neighborhoods and businesses. Over the last fifteen years, what many refer to as the north side has seen the most dramatic changes. Thousands of new homes and scores of new business have been built and inhabited by loving Santa Claran's. Of course, government has influence in this growth and its continued success. Government can be a facilitator and servicing agent responsive to the needs of its creators; or it can be a gatekeeper and roadblock to creativity, initiative, success, and prosperity. I have experienced this first hand as President of the Rivermark Community Association and through the process of starting and running a small business. I will work to ensure the city is the facilitator. We need to keep the costs of living and working here low. This means frugal contained budgets. Not temporary budgets, but a focus on continued frugality and high customer service. I would be humbled and honored if you would cast your vote for me. Thank you. Bill Collins
