Candidate for
City Clerk; City of Auburn

My education and experience includes a B.A. and an M.B.A., and my professional career has focused on helping make the business of government accountable and practical. I have over 25 years of local government experience successfully supporting City Council Members, Boards of Supervisors, city and county managers, and many government line and staff department services for the general public.

My current position is Senior Management Analyst for the Rancho Cordova City Manager's Office, where my work primarily involves maintaining effective community partnerships, managing projects and solving problems. In addition, I am also deputized as a City Clerk in the event that the staff of the Rancho Cordova City Clerk's Office is unable to complete their official duties.

I have lived in Auburn for 16 years, and continue to serve this community through many organizations such as service clubs, non-profits, my church, and the Chamber of Commerce. I am passionate about my home and believe I can serve it best over the next few years by bringing new leadership and a fresh perspective to the City Clerk's Office. My goals are to make it operationally sound and ready for a 21st century world demanding transparency, efficiency and effective public communications.
