This information is provided by the candidate
NAME: JAMES R. FISLER OCCUPATION:Director, Mesa Consolidated Water District, Division 2 (First Vice-President of the Board)

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your elected Mesa Consolidated Water District Director for the past three years. High quality and affordable drinking water is essential to our community's success. As your Director I have implemented strategic initiatives to ensure that Mesa Consolidated Water District can meet our water needs now and into the future:

Reliability. Mesa Consolidated Water District has expanded our water treatment facility, which means we are the only district in Orange County that can provide water entirely from local ground water aquifers.

Low Rates. With expanded access to local water supplies, the District is not impacted by the large increases in water rates for imported water.

Efficiency. Mesa Consolidated Water District spends less per ratepayer than any other water district in Orange County.

Excellent Credit. Mesa Consolidated Water District has an AAA bond rating due to conservative money management and strict financial controls.

No Unfunded Pension Liabilities. Unlike most other public agencies, Mesa Consolidated Water District has no unfunded pension liabilities.

I am a small business owner dedicated to serving our community. I have previously served as your Planning Commissioner and as your Parks Commissioner in Costa Mesa. I would appreciate your vote.
