Redeveloping Downtown
To further define Oakley, it will need to have a heart + the center of the community and the center of commerce. This is the vision of the historic downtown area.
Job Creation
As we look to spur job creation within the City, one specific area presents Oakley with many unique development opportunities for retail, light industrial and business park office: it is the DuPont and Cline properties off of Main Street and Bridgehead Rd.
Developing and improving areas for tourism
Eco-tourism plays an important role in the City's economy. Oakley is becoming the premier destination for bass fishing on the West Coast. The western delta presents the finest year-round bass fishing to be found in the West.
