This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

My name is: Greg Enholm

My age is: 58 years old

My occupation is: College Mathematics Professor

Education and Qualifications:

An East County homeowner since 1996, 17 years as a financial analyst, 10 years as a high school teacher, and now being a college professor, gives me experience to be a Trustee supporting faculty, staff, and students to improve education for all students.

We must go beyond emphasizing STEM to EMASET (English, Mathematics, Arts, Science, Engineering, Technology) because English and Arts are equally important for student success.

Also, I will seek private funding sources to replace student loan debt with grants.

Every high school student, especially college-bound, must be allowed to take a course at Los Medanos, Diablo Valley, or Contra Costa colleges. I have taken courses at each college since 1998.

I object to the 17-acre campus proposed by Martinez bureaucrats for Trilogy, Brentwood, preferring a centrally-located 110-acre full community college. I want Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, and nearby residents to decide what should be built. Email gbenholm@hotmail.com or call 925-878-5515 to serve on a committee holding public hearings. Go to Facebook and search Far East County.

I ask for your vote especially if you were one of the 15,831 voting for me in 2010 to assure students can take courses they need to transfer or find a rewarding career.
