Cynthia Mathews has been actively engaged in the Santa Cruz Community for over 4 decades. Her husband is a retired professor at UCSC; their two grown children attended local public schools, and three generations of the extended family now live in Santa Cruz. Cynthia has been a leader in building partnerships between the public, private and non-profit sectors to create a thriving community.
