Occupation: San Jose City Council Member, District 4
Education and Qualifications:

It has been a great honor and privilege to be elected to serve you for the last 10 years. As your City Councilmember, I have worked with stakeholders to create the North San Jose Neighborhood Plan, establish the Berryessa Business Association, locate the Berryessa Farmers Market, move Commodore Park and the dog park projects forward, expand library parking lot, brought critical infrastructure improvements in Alviso, among many other accomplishments I am committed to preserving essential services, increasing open space and parks, keeping our communities safe, building a vibrant business community, improving our schools, and addressing important neighborhood issues.

I have supported Open Government reforms, helped defeat a tax hike in North San Jose, and championed policy around healthy living and sustainable environment. I serve on 21 local and regional governing committees and represent San Jose on the League of California Cities and the Association of Bay Area Governments boards. I would like to continue my two decades of public service for the benefit of all current and future residents.

Together, we can make San Jose a better place to work, play, raise a family, and to retire. I humbly ask for your vote to re-elect me for my final term. Please visit http://www.kansenchu.com
