- I am Ready to Serve
-
David Burns won't need a year to learn how the city and each city department operates. David can hit the ground running for El Segundo from day one.
- Fiscal Responsibility, Transparency, and Communication
-
We need to live within our means and be conservative in projecting future revenue, and prioritizing new revenues. We need to plan for the financing of citywide infrastructure repairs. The city will need to tell the community how it will address some community needs, and pay for the repairs that are needed. All of this will need to be prioritized, outlined, and clearly communicated.
- Development and Partnership with our Schools
-
The solution to many of our problems lies in true leadership. The ability of this community to resolve our infrastructure problems is not going to be solved by one individual or one entity. It will only be solved by the collective efforts of our entire community working together to solve the problem. I will work with our residents, School Board, educators, developers, Realtors, Chamber of Commerce, and other vital stakeholders to improve and modernize the community.
