- I am a lifelong resident of Palmdale, California. I spent my entire working career in Palmdale beginning in the early 60's and went to work for the Palmdale School District in the late 70's.
- I have worked for the Palmdale School District for 30+ years, beginning in the late 70's as a substitute custodian advancing through the ranks to Director of Maintenance and Operations, until I retired in 2009.
- I received my elementary and secondary education here, I attended Antelope Valley College and obtained an Associate in Science degree.
- I have one daughter and two grandchildren. My daughter went through the Palmdale School District and my school aged grandson is currently enrolled in the district.
- I am an RV enthusiast, with a motorhome and a boat, belonging to Good Sams Club, Colorado River Adventures and Thousand Trails. As often as possible, I take my grandson with me camping and boating.
- I am a member of AV CERT, obtaining my certification in 2005, along with that I became a Ham Radio Operator in 2006.
- I have provided over 10,000 hours of Community Service as a Volunteer On Patrol, for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
