I have been a long time resident of the City of Hawaiian Gardens. In 2005 I received a B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach, and in 2009 a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. I have been practicing Law for two years. My dedication to public service has extended beyond the courtroom, which is the reason why I have decided to run for City Council.
As an attorney I have not only represented the interest of people facing consumer lawsuits but also protected employee rights in Labor and Employment actions. I have dedication, tenacity, determination, and passion; traits which have allowed me to succeed. I have balanced my intellectual growth with a commitment to my community forming strong and honest interpersonal skills, skills which are critical for running a city. As an avid member of my community I have gained the confidence and rewarding experience of balancing my career demands with the necessity of being a friend, mentor, role model, and leader. Currently, I am an active member of Mexican American Bar Association (MABA), the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), and Latina Lawyers Bar Association.
