My Pledge of Accountability as an Judge
I, Michael Schleigh, pledge that should I be so honored as to be elected as a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County I will at all times act in accordance with the dignity and seriousness of the position, holding myself to the high level of ethics and legality. I shall further:

  • Give full deliberation on every issue of concern brought before me for consideration, including listening and weighing all parties' point of views in decision-making:

  • Never put my personal gain before issues of pubic importance;

  • Never have ex parte discussions with parties or their counsel regarding a litigation over which I have jurisdiction;

  • Advocate that the Court develop progressive programs that particularly will assist troubled youth, veterans, and those who are at risk of losing their homes in Delaware County; and

  • Never allow partisan concerns to enter into deliberation of a case over which I am presiding.
