• BA, Smith College, Northampton, MA, 1979. Majored in Government and Mathematics
• MBA, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, 1980. Majored in Marketing and Small Business Strategy.

• IBM Corporation, 1980-1993. Several positions including Marketing Representative, Industry Marketing Instructor, Marketing Manager, and Distribution Manger.
• University of Pittsburgh Computer Learning Center, 1995-2001. Developed and taught courses that grew into the CLC's Internet Certificate Programs.
• Lonewolf Systems and Stone Soup Consulting, 1993-present. Director, Internet Marketing Operations. Responsible for working with clients to develop and maintain internet presence.

First moved to Township of O'Hara by IBM in 1991. Founder and director of Kol Isha, a women's choral ensemble, 2000-2007. Founder and director of the Pittsburgh Threshold Choir, a group of women who sing at bedsides of people who are dying or very ill, 2007-present.

Married to Richard Heath, MD, current Chief Medical Officer for UPMC Emergency Resources Management, Inc. Daughters Sharon Heath and Rebecca Heath both grew up in O'Hara Township and attended Dorseyville Middle School and Fox Chapel High School.
