I am a strong believer in public education. Good public schools are the key to the vitality of the city. They attract young families to Pasadena and provide a skilled local future workforce. If we are concerned about our city's character, we cannot neglect our most valuable asset--our children and their education. I will work to build a stronger partnership between the city and PUSD to provide the resources to guarantee success. I support adding an eighth principle of "Education" to the Pasadena General Plan because we need a vibrant educational system (both public and private) that is valued and supported as a shared responsibility. |
