- CLEAR, COMPELLING, FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE LEADERSHIP
-
We now embark on a new phase of Carlsbad history. Our City is at 89% of its residential build out and Mayor Bud Lewis is stepping down after 40 years of service to our city. We must bring the positive city government of the past into a fresh era of energetic and updated management to ensure the future of this outstanding city.
- MY THREE HIGHEST PRIORITIES
-
I will battle for fiscally conservative policies, a diversified economy and protection of natural resources.
- ALGA NORTE COMMUNITY PARK AND AQUATIC CENTER
-
The City Council recently voted to spend another $30,000 to study the feasibility of building Alga Norte Community Park and Aquatic Center, citing an uncertain state budget and tight finances for the city. While the budget is tight, the funds have been allocated through the citizen-approved Proposition C in 2002 and the Facilities Fees charged to developers for the impact of development on this part of town.
