Lou Alfonso City Council Candidate, Chino Hills - Candidate StatementBy Lou AlfonsoCandidate for Member, City Council; City of Chino Hills | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
My name is Lou Alfonso. My motivation running for Chino Hills City Council stemmed from deep rooted desire to give back the graces and blessings that I and my family continue to receive living in the USA. I want to take an active role in the continued growth and improvement of Chino Hills, particularly in the area of safety, security and continued beautification. With 20 years residency in Chino Hills, I have seen a lot of changes and tremendous growth in our residential and business communities. I'm excited to offer my work experiences and knowledge to help our community adequately plan for the challenges of continued future growth within the district's limited funding sources.
My over 20 years pharmaceutical sales and marketing experience with Fortune 500 companies, Bachelor of Science from the Philippines as full government scholar and management from Asian Institute of Management will be put to use to further improve and enhance living conditions in our city. I will work on further improving and enhancing safety and security in City of Chino Hills; I will support term limit in the City Council that sets up the right environment and motivation for community involvement. Just like in baseball, "Three Strikes (Terms)" for the City Council should apply! I will propose a Code of Ethics in the City Council for continued strong public confidence in the integrity of the City Council; I will promote a work environment that is inclusive of every person, knowledge, background, religion, lifestyle, sexual orientation, physical abilities and ways of seeing the world. |
