- Ensure that City government focuses primarily upon protecting its citizens, punishing evildoers, and upholding everyone's Constitutional rights.
- Promote unfettered exercise of free-market principles which will encourage economic growth and prosperity without the City's help or hindrance.
- Effectively represent Ridgecrest citizens who prefer more Constitutionally-minded use of their tax dollars.

- My Thoughts on the Last Election's Hot City Issues (2008)

Key issues in the 2008 General Election included Measure N, the City's budget, and the Facilities Modernization Project (a.k.a. the Trane Company project). Other high-visibility issues in 2008 included the Downs Median Project and DUI Checkpoints. Here were my thoughts on those issues which I included in this year's SmartVoter website to give you a more comprehensive picture of my approach to government.

Key issues in this election include not only Mandatory Trash & Recycling (which has dominated the Council's landscape for nearly two years) but also the underlying foundational issues of 1) challenging unjust higher authority, 2) adhering to lawful procedures, and 3) promoting transparency in City government. But how will those other issues -- police, streets, sewers, etc. -- be addressed and paid for?
