A school board member is a non-partisan position.

My political philosophy is centered around duty, diligence, fiscal conservancy, and tranparency in decision-making. It is critical that board members devote the necessary time and energy to address the needs of the district. It requires a huge commitment of time and the ability to read vast amounts of detailed material. You are required as a board member to follow the Brown Act open meeting laws and remain independent in thought and not be beholding to any political group or other people. Your job is to do what is right for students.
