Our Healthcare District is ineffective, lack fiscal responsibility, and it is plagued with: Grand Jury Investigations Lacks focus on mission statement and core health concerns of the community Ineffective fiscal policy, inappropriate contractual obligations, and project allocations. Inadequate adherence to the mandated educational aspects of the mission statement Hence, our community has lost faith in the current Board of Director and demands a visionary Leader. MY PROPOSED SOLUTIONS Leadership must be accountable, transparent, inclusive, and adhere to the law in service. We need to: Focus on Childhood Obesity, Heart Disease, Cancer, Stroke, Asthma, and Alcohol Abuse. Reduce administrative cost, pay off bond early, and leveraging District funds on grants for healthcare specific agreements. Adhere to the current strategic plan and focus our resources on the identified quality of life impeding health related matters. Increase our collaboration with all levels of government and public institutions to promote greater healthcare awareness in the District. Form a consortium of community and organization leaders to proffer ideas, solutions, and implementation of joint projects. Stop job loss, save small businesses, and support relevant educational and healthcare specific services. |
