Issue: City Development v. Remaining a Small Town
Ted believes that we can honor our deep-rooted past while also building a vibrant city the meets the needs of current and future citizens.
Issue: Expanding Clayton's Urban Limit Line
As a land-locked city, Clayton has limited space to grow. Ted values the small-town feel of Clayton with its rural charm. Yet he feels there still remain opportunities to develop if done appropriately.
Issue: Should Clayton Add a Tax Measure?
Ted is not in favor of additional taxes for Clayton at this time. Cities should not tax residents for the sake of taxing.
