Water is the lifeblood of our community. My promise to voters is that I will be your independent representative on the SFWPA board to ensure local residents, property owners and businesses in the communities of Oroville, Kelly Ridge, Palermo, Bangor, that they are always the Agency's highest priority and focus. The community of Oroville has been my home for 39 years. It's where I raised my three children, participated on many school committees and have been involved in numerous civic organizations, including serving as director on the Oroville Board of Realtors, the Oroville YMCA, and the Oroville Chamber of Commerce. I hold a Business Degree from Chaffey College, worked for Butte County for many years and am a licensed Real Estate Broker. I'm keenly aware of how important water is to the economic health of our community. It will be my commitment to ensure that the Agency's best efforts are expended to ensure the following priorities: the secure the use of our water rights and storage for our community first; and, to utilize hydropower sales revenues to improve and expand our water system's treatment and delivery capabilities, as well as to reduce water rates for Agency consumers. |
