Dublin is a progressive City. We need to continue that progress. Don Biddle has the experience, the skills, the vision and the commitment to the community to continue to be an effective Dublin Councilmember. Together, we can continue to build a strong, vibrant, progressive Dublin. DON's PRIORITIES: Maintain Dublin's high standards of Public Safety. Attract new business, retain and expand current businesses that will provide employment and services for Dublin residents. Prioritize important public services with available resources. Assure high quality commercial and residential growth that is balanced, sustainable, well managed and appropriate for our community. Utilize Green building standards with development. Plan growth with safe and pedestrian oriented neighborhoods that includes parks, open space and recreation opportuities for Dublin residents. Complete Downtown Specific Plan and start revitalization of our downtown. Continue development of our Heritage Center. Continue to improve City services and communication with the community. IN THE PAST FEW YEARS DUBLIN HAS ACCOMPLISHED MUCH: We have maintained a strong financial position even with the economic downturn. We have developed an Economic Incentive Program to encourage business development in Dublin. We have opened Shannon Community Center, Fallon Sports Park and the Dublin Hills Regional Park with East Bay Parks District. Dublin was a finalist for the 2010 All-American City Award. We have opened the I-580/Falllon Road Interchange and opened Dublin Boulevard all the way to Fallon Road. We continued to make improvements to Dublin Blvd. We have started redevelopment of Arroyo Vista. We have improved the City's website and communications with the community. We continue the partnership between the City of Dublin and Dublin Unified School District. partnership with |
