My Political Philosophy is for a small and effective federal government. The purpose of the federal government is to maintain our borders, maintain a military, settle disputes concerning interstate commerce and to interact with foreign governments.
The tenth ammendment of the constitution states "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
