- Great Neighborhoods
-
Great cities are not measured by the number of skyscrapers, but rather the quality, inclusion and character of their neighborhoods. The real test for San Jose will be how healthy the neighborhoods are after the budget cuts.
- Economic Recover
-
We need to work aggressively to revive our local economy. To do that we need to focus on the City's structural deficit, generating revenue, and supporting local business.
- Making Government Work
-
Good government is a balance between efficiency, effectiveness, accountability, and responsiveness. City leaders have developed a process for accountability through Sunshine Reform but more needs to be done. No amount of transparency will change bad or confusing policy.
