John T. Nejedly will implement fair and ethical standards, policies and procedures that are administered evenly throughout the Contra Costa County.

John has proposed tax break incentives to spark home improvements without the fear of reassessment.

After graduating from Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Construction Management, John Nejedly completed his education at John F. Kennedy University School of Law.

John Nejedly will bring experienced leadership that provides an efficient and well run office to administer tax rolls evenly and securely for all citizens.

John Nejedly, his wife Katie and their three children live and have grown up in Contra Costa County. John's family is dedicated to public service and has a proven record of community service in the County for many years.

John is the President of Nejedly Corporation, a General Engineering and Contracting company he founded in 1995 and is also a practicing attorney.

During his four terms as Trustee for the Contra Costa Community College District, John Nejedly was elected Board President three times and has worked hard to represent all constituents in the decision making process.

Under John's leadership, Diablo Valley, Los Medanos and Contra Costa College all have newly constructed class rooms and labs.

John enjoys many family activities including coaching baseball and softball as well as many outdoor activities including skiing and fishing.
