REGISTER to VOTE
SCHOOL DISTRICT REVOTE ON BUDGET scheduled for June 15, 2010: See Heading below.
Registration for the School District Elections on May 18, 2010: In general, you will be eligible to vote in the May 18, 2010 School District Elections if you are currently registered to vote with the Westchester County Board of Elections. (Please see below.) If you are not registered, you should contact your local School District Clerk for registration information. Most School Districts have local registration hours. There are several Districts which offer special registration days. This information is available on the ballot pages for each School District which has provided it to Smartvoter. (Enter your information in "My Ballot and Polling Place" above to go to your District's ballot pages.)
MAIL REGISTRATION
Application must be postmarked not later than August 21st and received by the Westchester County Board of Elections not later than August 26th to be eligible to vote in the Primary Election on September 15.
IN PERSON REGISTRATION
You may register at the Westchester Board of Elections or any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year but, to be eligible to vote in the Fall primary on September 15, your application must be received no later than August 21st.

REVOTE on BUDGET PROPOSITION on JUNE 15, 2010 for SCHOOL DISTRICTS WHOSE BUDGET PROPOSITION WAS DEFEATED IN MAY 18, 2010 VOTE:

Katonah-Lewisboro, Ossining and Pocantico Hills School Districts will each have a vote on a REVISED Budget Proposition for their District on June 15, 2010.

Mt. Vernon City School District has decided to not have a revote, but to accept the Contingency Budget prescribed for their District.
