A short biography
I was born in Hamilton County and have lived here all my life. I grew up in Colerain Township (White Oak), and graduated from Colerain High School. I lived at home while attending the University of Cincinnati. It wasn't until after I graduated from UC that I found my true calling. I was a electrician's summer helper during high school for Local 212, IBEW and loved working that summer. After I finished school, I went right back into the electrical trade, and enjoyed every day until I retired at age 55.
During my working years, I was also involved in my community. I was involved in community groups, the Miami Historical Society (past President and current Treasurer), active in Harrison sports (when my children were young) and a member of the Sierra Club. In 1995 I ran for Whitewater Township Trustee and won my first campaign. I am currently serving my fourth term, in my 15th year of serving my friends and neighbors in Whitewater Township.
