Candidate for
Member of City Council to succeed George Barich; City of Cotati

I have resided in Cotati since 1980. I have served as an elected official in the Cotati Rohnert Park Unified School District for five terms starting in 1990. The operating balanced budget averages fifty million dollars annually. The District employs over six hundred employees and serves over 6,400 stakeholders daily, reflecting two communities of over fifty thousand people.

I have served on the Environmental Advisory Commission and Gateway Committee for the City of Cotati. I have worked on and volunteered for countless community events and festivals since 1980. I have volunteered and helped produce the Cotati Accordion Festival since its inception 19 years ago. I am visible in the community.

Cotati is at a crucial crossroads and it is time that all citizens are represented. The City is built out and lacks sustaining tax revenue sources. I wish to represent the interests of all citizens and business living in and serving our community. We choose to live here, this is our city; we deserve to be fairly represented and served. I have experience, am a tireless worker, well prepared; and ready for the task. I respectfully ask for your support and your vote for a responsive City Council and a better Cotati.
