Candidate for
Director; Novato Sanitary District

Moved to Novato in '88 and owned a video store in Ignacio. A few years later the Navy closed Hamilton. The Reuse Authority consisted of three "boards" On the low end it was the stakeholder board called the Hamilton Advisory Commission (HAC). I chaired that commission. We passed our recommendations, the Multi Agency Board made up of County supervisors, and council members. They went to the Novato City Council for final OK. HUD Rated the best re use plan they had ever seen.

Served on the Novato Homeless Commission and in '93 ran and was successfully elected to the Novato City Council. Served two terms as Mayor.

I'm married to Donna, my wife and we have a 26 year old son in Medical school and next year we will have our 34th anniversary.

I'm a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club. We are the club that puts on Fishing in the city, changes out all the mobile home smoke detectors in Novato, hands out dictionaries to all 3rd graders, sponsors the Laws of life essay contest and puts on the circus at St. Vincent's where we also sell Christmas trees.
