Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District

Jesse is a product of the Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District. Jesse first attended Nettie L. Waite school (now Chavez Elementary). The school then moved over to Centennial where Jesse completed middle school.

Jesse graduated John Glenn High School with honors in 1986. While at John Glenn, Jesse was an honor student, member of the ASB Cabinet, wrestling team,Academic Decathlon team and was a Boys State delegate sponsored by American Legion Post #359. Jesse was an active volunteer supporting the Norwalk All-City Band.

Jesse is an Engineering Project Manager for a consulting firm in Long Beach where he has been employed for 17 years. Jesse's clients include Hewlett Packard, 3M, Cal State Long Beach, The Port of Los Angeles, The Port of Long Beach, and THUMS Oil Co.,

Jesse and his wife Lori are homeowners in La Mirada where they live with their daughter Elise Grace Urquidi (a future NLMUSD student)
