A senior attorney with 26 years of litigation experience, Michael Turner has tried in excess of 200 jury trials to verdict in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania, as well as other jurisdictions throughout the United States. In 1981, Mike began his law career in the Philadelphia District Attorney's office where he served as an Assistant District Attorney for five years. Serving in a variety of units within the District Attorney's Office provided Mike with insights as to the complexity of the Office and the myriad issues it faces.

From 1985-1986, Mike served in the Career Criminal Unit where only the most experienced prosecutors were assigned the most serious cases. Mike also served in the Appeals Unit, where he successfully handled appeals in murder, rape, robbery and other criminal offenses.

Following his service as an Assistant D.A, Mike joined the firm of Krusen, Evans and Byrne in Philadelphia and later co-founded the firm of Kelley, Jasons, McGuire & Spinelli in Philadelphia where he focused on the preparation and trial of complex personal injury, product liability and criminal cases. He also served as managing partner at Kelley Jasons for five years where along with practicing law, Mike made personnel and budget decisions. Mike is currently a shareholder in the firm of Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin, a firm of more than 400 attorneys.

A graduate of Central High School, Mike is a past Vice-President of the Central High Alumni Association. Mike graduated from Virginia State College (Magna Cum Laude) and received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Michael's public service includes volunteer positions on the boards of many local, civic and community organizations. He is a Director at Valley Green Bank, which oversees assets of more than $75,000,000. He is President of Settlement Music School's Germantown Branch Board, President of the Center City Crime Victim Services Board, Treasurer, Neighborhood Interfaith Movement and a Trustee at Summit Presbyterian Church.

A member of the American Bar Association, National Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel and Pennsylvania Defense Institute, Mike is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals 4th Circuit.

Mike has taught continuing legal education seminars on Direct and Cross Examination and How to Conduct Effective Opening and Closing Statements for the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation.

Mike is married to Dr. Annette McDaniel-Turner and they are the parents of twin teen-age boys. His Father served as a police officer for 15 years with the Philadelphia Police Department including the 39th District and his mother taught in the Philadelphia Public Schools at the Edward Gideon Elementary School.
